Food of the queen

Royal jelly – also called queen bee jelly – is a special secretion produced by young nurse bees. In every hive it is intended for a single creature: the queen bee. Royal jelly is naturally rare and beekeepers obtain it only in small quantities.

Carefully harvested

Obtaining royal jelly requires experience and a delicate touch. In specialised apiaries, the fresh jelly is gently taken from the comb cells and chilled immediately. Only in this way does it keep its creamy, natural texture.

Fresh, not dried

This royal jelly is raw and fresh – not freeze-dried and not processed into powder. That is exactly why it must be kept chilled at all times. It is shipped in insulated packaging with a cooling element.

Pure and simple

100% royal jelly – no additives, no preservatives. Natural, creamy and with a characteristic tangy, slightly sour taste.

How to use it

Royal jelly is eaten on its own or stirred into honey. We recommend about 0.5–1 g per day – the measuring spoons provided help with dosing. Always keep the jar refrigerated at 0–5 °C and do not freeze it.
